Basil Pesto Pasta

Qty Ingredients Needed
MAIN RECIPE
2 1/2 tbsp Sardo Basil Pesto
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp olive oil
1 pkg your choice of pasta
  Salt and Pepper
  ground black pepper to taste
  grated cheese to taste
 
  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until done. Drain
  2. In a large bowl, mix pesto mixture, into pasta. Stir in olive oil. Serve
  3. Add grated cheese and ground pepper to taste
  4. Chef tip
    The pesto must never be heated otherwise the basil darkens.

    The best Basil Pesto can only be found in the Genoa region of Italy.
